The Type 300 Digital Load Indicator is suitable for use with all full bridge sensors including Load
Cells, Torque Transducers and Pressure Transducers. It provides a clear large LED Display of the
Load and a smaller LED Display of the engineering units. The indicator provides a supply for the
transducer and scales its signal to display in the required units.
The indicator has a simple set up menu operated from its keypad with clearly displayed prompts.
As an alternative the indicator can be set up through its main RS232 port using a computer and
the simple Windows utility. For more advanced users who wish to integrate the indicator with
their own computer and control systems a full listing of the commands and protocol are included.
The indicator has a dual function RS232 port, the main port allows full communication with the
display for both set up and the downloading of data to other systems, the second port provides an
output for a serial printer. Other output options include an analogue 0-5V or 0-10Vdc scaled to
the display full range and 2 relay outputs.
